Job summary

Wooded Glen Recovery Center is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and staff at our Kentucky facility. You will perform daily cleaning of patient rooms, offices, bathrooms, and common areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.

Responsibilities extend to laundering linens, remaking beds after discharge, waste disposal, inventory maintenance, and assisting with room setups for meetings and events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare/clinical or commercial housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of patient rooms, offices, bathrooms and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, scrub, wax and polish floors.
• Clean and disinfect furniture, fixtures and high-touch surfaces.
• Launder linens using commercial washers/dryers.
• Remake beds after client discharge and dispose of waste properly.
• Maintain supply inventory and cleaning equipment; follow infection control guidelines.
• Assist with room setup for meetings and events.

**About the Job:**The Housekeeper is responsible for keeping a clean and healthy client care environment by maintaining assigned areas in a clean, safe, sanitary and orderly manner. Advises supervisor on environmental services equipment needs and repairs.
