Job summary

J&P Hospitality Management, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming guest spaces on-site. The role emphasizes deep cleaning and servicing occupied rooms for extended-stay guests, ensuring adherence to property standards and guest satisfaction.

The position is part-time and non-exempt, with potential for an on-site studio apartment when overnight front desk help is needed, subject to availability and guidelines. Reports to the General Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience a plus but not required.
• Ability to read and follow instructions in English.
• Must be 18 years of age at the time of hire and legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Employment is subject to E-Verify verification.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms according to property standards, including floors, bathrooms, kitchens, and furnishings.
• Perform deep cleans on rooms after guest departure, including all surfaces, linens, and appliances.
• Replenish linens, towels, toiletries, and other room supplies.
• Remove trash, clean floors, dust surfaces, sanitize bathrooms, and restock housekeeping carts.
• Report room maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damages to the General Manager.
• Ensure housekeeping carts and storage areas are kept organized and secure.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of common areas as assigned.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of cleaning products and PPE.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
