Job summary

Lap of Love in Tucson, AZ is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to join our mobile veterinary hospice team serving Tucson and surrounding areas.

This role offers flexibility with 2–5 day weeks, supportive onboarding, mentorship, and a comprehensive benefits package including salary base, bonuses, 401k, PTO, and travel-friendly schedule.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets.
• Deliver compassionate veterinary care in clients' homes.
• Maintain high standards of patient and client communication.

Veterinarian Salary Range

*Part‑time (2‑day/week) opportunities available in the Tucson, AZ area, offering a guaranteed base salary of $45,000 annually plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Full‑time (3‑day, 4‑day, and 5‑day) compensation details available upon request.
