Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian in Louisville, KY and surrounding areas to deliver compassionate hospice and euthanasia care. This role emphasizes work-life balance, professional fulfillment, and independence, with support from mentors and a nationwide network.

The part-time position (2 days/week) offers a guaranteed base salary of $40,000 annually plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Full-time details are available upon request.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree and eligibility to practice in the U.S.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before start date

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in home settings.
• Practice veterinary care with autonomy while receiving mentorship and support.
• Collaborate with Lap of Love team and practice managers to ensure compassionate service.
