Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to serve Albuquerque, NM and surrounding areas. This role emphasizes balance, well-being, and purpose, offering a mobile practice that provides hospice and euthanasia care with compassionate support for families.

You’ll join a network of veterinarians and support staff, enjoy mentorship and ongoing training, and operate with independence within a supportive culture designed to help you shine.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in home settings.
• Practice as a mobile veterinarian and work independently within Lap of Love’s model.
• Deliver compassionate medical care while aligning with family values and goals.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: Part-time (2-day/week) opportunities available in the Albuquerque, NM area, offering a guaranteed base salary of $55,000 annually plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Full-time (3-day, 4-day, and 5-day) compensation details available upon request
