Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an in-home Associate Veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care in the Inland Empire, CA area. The role offers flexibility, work-life balance, and a supportive culture with ongoing mentorship and a strong community of professionals.

Qualifications

• Must have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Deliver compassionate medical care and supportive communication to clients.
• Complete documentation and follow safety protocols in home settings.

Veterinarian Salary Range: Part‑time (2‑day/​week) opportunities available in the Inland Empire, CA area, offering a guaranteed base salary of $65,000 annually plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Full‑time (3‑day, 4‑day, and 5‑day) compensation details available upon request.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post‑hire and before their associated start date
