Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an in-home Associate Veterinarian to serve Indianapolis, IN and surrounding areas. This mobile role focuses on compassionate hospice and euthanasia care, offering a path that honors your time and well-being while practicing medicine with purpose.

You’ll experience flexible 2-5 day-per-week schedules, a supportive mentorship network, and the autonomy of practicing in clients’ homes with gratitude from families who value meaningful care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check post-hire and before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in their homes.
• Operate as an in-home veterinarian with compassionate, patient-focused care.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: Part-time (2-day/week) opportunities available in the Indianapolis, IN area, offering a guaranteed base salary of $45,000 annually plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Full-time (3-day, 4-day, and 5-day) compensation details available upon request

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver\'s license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
