Job summary

Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center (JCC) in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking an Hourly Childcare Teacher for a part-time morning program. The role focuses on safe, warm care and developmentally appropriate activities.

Hours are 7:45am - 11:15am, seven days a week. The program emphasizes teamwork with the Hourly Childcare team and ongoing professional growth opportunities through JCC resources.

Qualifications

• Must be 17 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification for infants, children, and adults.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in childcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the children in your care and support the children and families.
• Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of your work.
• Provide a safe environment for all children by keeping them in sight and sound at all times.
• Partner with the Hourly Childcare Coordinator to develop a daily program.
• Provide children with an emotionally accepting environment for growth.
• Establish and maintain a well-organized, safe, and healthy environment.
