Job summary

WaterWalk Hospitality in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a diligent Hotel Housekeeper to maintain guest rooms and common areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and guest comfort. You will clean, sanitize, restock amenities, report maintenance needs, and collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure rooms are ready for new guests, while providing courteous service.

This is a part-time role requiring weekend and holiday availability; standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Room Cleaning: Clean and sanitize guest rooms per standards; make beds; clean bathrooms; dust; vacuum; replenish amenities.
• Common Area Maintenance: Clean and maintain lobbies, hallways, elevators and restrooms.
• Linen & Laundry Management: Collect, sort, transport linens and towels; ensure supply.
• Guest Interaction: Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Compliance & Safety: Follow safety and sanitation policies; use chemicals safely.
• Team Collaboration: Work with housekeeping team to ensure timely cleaning and assist with special projects.
