Allied Universal welcomes applicants for the part-time Security Officer Morning Hospital Screening position in Poway, CA. You will greet visitors, support access screening, and help maintain a secure environment for patients, families, and staff using tablets or computers to document information and deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide courteous customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while performing site-specific screening procedures and security policies.
• Screen individuals entering the healthcare location per visitor management, access control, and prohibited-item protocols.
• Verify visitor credentials, give directions, and explain entry requirements professionally.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document screening activities and report concerns to designated personnel.
