Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Atlanta, GA. You will provide customer service, patrol the facility, monitor access points, and document incidents to support a safe, welcoming environment.

Requirements include HS diploma or equivalent, 3+ years in security or related fields, and eligibility for local licensing. CPR/First Aid preferred; vaccination requirements may apply. Salary is $21.00 per hour with flexible day/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Licensing requirements may be required per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols to identify and report anomalies.
• Monitor access points, greet and direct visitors, verify credentials.
• Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports for leadership and site contacts.
