The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent and demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently or with a team. This is a part-time position in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping or healthcare cleaning is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is valued.
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Routine cleaning of patient rooms, public areas, offices and restrooms.
• Disinfection and sanitation in line with infection control protocols.
• Waste segregation and proper disposal according to hospital policies.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment; report malfunctions.
• Collaborate with staff to meet cleaning needs in critical areas such as ER and ORs.
• Document cleaning schedules and safety checks as required.
