Job summary

Aramark in Skokie Hospital is seeking a part-time Food Service Worker to assist the manager with food preparation and maintain records. You will help complete daily reports and ensure high standards of quality, sanitation, and kitchen safety.

This role involves preparing meals, labeling and storing food properly, serving on schedule, and supporting cleaning duties. You will work in a fast-paced environment with flexible, rotating shifts and adhere to all safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Food Service Certificate or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work quickly and concisely under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions.
• Maintain storage of food in a sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to meal schedules, department policies and procedures.
• Follow established procedures and standards for cleanliness, to ensure a balanced and safe environment.
