Job summary

Fulton County Health Center in Ohio seeks an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a clean and safe hospital environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The role includes cleaning patient rooms, offices, corridors, and public spaces, plus moving furniture and equipment as needed.

Shifts include 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM or 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM) and an 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM schedule every fourth weekend. This is a part-time position with 40 hours bi-weekly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move heavy cleaning supplies and equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with pushing and pulling of mops and electric and battery-powered equipment.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned hospital areas, including patient rooms, offices, corridors, and public spaces.
• Move and arrange furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Utilize and maintain cleaning equipment such as mops, vacuum cleaners, and electric/battery-powered devices.
• Ensure that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent the spread of infections and maintain a sanitary environment.
