Job summary

AVI Foodsystems seeks an Environmental Services Worker for a part-time position at The Surgical Hospital at Soutwoods in Boardman, OH. The role includes custodial duties in patient areas, with a schedule Monday through Friday and a focus on cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Active daily duties requiring standing, walking, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and crouching.
• Previous environmental services experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Dust furniture, fixtures and floors; polish and clean rooms and bathrooms.
• Operate floor cleaners, buffers, vacuums and related environmental service equipment.
• Wet-mop rooms, halls and carpets; shampoo rugs and furniture.
• Clean vents, fan fixtures, high areas using a ladder.
• Gather and dispose of trash and waste materials.
• Move furniture and heavy objects as needed.
• Prepare patient rooms for new occupants and disinfect fixtures.
