Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in horticulture and 2 years tested experience OR Associate degree in horticulture and 5 years tested experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach lecture portion of the horticulture course and deliver content using varied teaching styles.
• Follow departmental safety guidelines and update course content as needed.
• Prepare and maintain curriculum, outlines, textbooks, and syllabi.
• Meet all classes on schedule and evaluate student performance through assignments and exams.
• Provide feedback on student progress and assist with disciplinary measures if needed.
• Maintain records and submit grades by deadlines.
• Assist in advising and supporting students, including office hours and email consultations.
