Job summary

Best Buy, a leading consumer electronics retailer, seeks an Installation Helper to join the Geek Squad team in Joliet, IL. You will accompany skilled Agents to customers’ homes for delivery, installation, and haul-away of devices, while supporting the team with integration and networking.

The role involves advising customers on product placement, working solo or in pairs, and coordinating inventory and vehicle upkeep. A strong emphasis on customer service and on-site problem solving is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to carry, lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds alone or 150 pounds with a team, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide a seamless client experience by advising on product placement and recommendations on product, service and content.
• Work independently or as part of a two-person team.
• Manage inventory and vehicle maintenance in partnership with other agents.
• Process paperwork and payments.
• Provide feedback and training to store teams and complete in-store repairs.
