Right at Home Virginia Beach is seeking a dynamic Part Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our homecare agency. The role emphasizes autonomy, thorough client assessments, and individualized care planning within a supportive team.

The RN will conduct new client assessments, schedule follow-ups based on availability, and ensure compliant, high-quality care. You’ll work in a flexible, independent capacity while contributing to a compassionate home health team dedicated to patient well-being.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the state and CPR certification.
• One year of home care or home health care experience preferred.
• Licensed driver with reliable automobile and insurance.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Performs client assessment upon admission, change of condition, and as required by state law.
• Develops the plan of care and revises it as client status changes.
• Collaborates with client and family to create a care plan meeting needs.
• Identifies discharge planning needs and plans accordingly.
• Coordinates with care team to implement the plan of care.
• Communicates with client's representative and physicians as required.
