Visiting Angels Upper Connecticut River Valley, NH is seeking a Part-Time Home Care Aide to enrich clients' quality of life in Upper Connecticut River Valley area including Hanover, NH. You will assist with personal care, meals, mobility, companionship, and errands, with flexible day shifts and competitive wages.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and strong communication skills. Training in First Aid and safety standards is provided.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed).
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care.

Responsibilities

• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

• Remind clients to take prescription medications appropriately.
• Provide assistance with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments/errands.

As a Visiting Angels Part Time Home Care Aide, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

Part Time Home Care Aide Job Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
