Job summary

Portland Community College is seeking qualified part-time History instructors to join our pool for the Academic Year. The department reviews applications as needs arise for new part-time faculty assignments and substitutions may be considered.

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in History. For specialty courses, related-area master’s degrees or thirty graduate history credits may be required. Official transcripts are required within two weeks of offer date for degrees documented.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in History.
• Thirty (30) quarter graduate credits in History.
• Master’s degree in a related area (including, but not limited to, American Studies, Ethnic Studies, Russian and Eastern European Studies, Latin American Studies, Women’s Studies, Black Studies, American Indian Studies, or Holocaust and Genocide Studies)
