Qualifications

• A Theology teacher must meet the following criteria.
• State teaching license or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 12 semester hours in teacher education.
• Plan of study to Archdiocese by Oct 1; three years to complete hours.
• Bachelor’s degree with an individualized plan of study to attain licensure.
• Basic Religious Education Certification (within 3 years) aiming for advanced certification.

Responsibilities

• Inspiring students and promoting mastery in subject areas.
• Helping to develop and implement curriculum aligned with Wisconsin State Standards, Common Core Standards and Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards as they evolve.
• Providing continual assessment of student progress and maintaining records.
• Continually evaluating instructional performance to meet the needs of the students.
