Job summary

Metter is seeking a High School Mathematics Teacher to develop students' mathematical skills and understanding. Responsibilities include creating effective lesson plans and promoting a positive learning environment. A Georgia State Certification as a Mathematics Education Teacher is required. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in an applicable education discipline, with a Master’s preferred, and experience in teaching at the appropriate grade level. This is an exempt position with a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• Georgia State Certification as a Mathematics Education Teacher is required.
• Ability to provide own transportation.
• Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer mathematics curriculum consistent with school goals.
• Promote a safe and conducive classroom environment.
• Design learning activities relating mathematics to real-life situations.
