Job summary

Wide Angle Youth Media in Baltimore is seeking a part-time Filmmaking Educator for the 2026-2027 academic year (Sept 2026–June 2027). The position pays $20.76–$22.50 per hour, with 10–15 hours weekly and scheduling on Tue/Thu evenings to serve high school students with a Teaching Assistant.

You will plan, facilitate and lead a beginner-to-intermediate class for 18 youths, fostering teamwork, creativity, and filmmaking fundamentals in a collaborative after-school setting.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching high school filmmaking or related arts.
• Ability to plan and facilitate after-school classes for youth.
• Strong communication and collaboration with teaching assistants.

Responsibilities

• Lead and co-facilitate a High School Filmmaking class for 18 students.
• Deliver beginner-to-intermediate instruction Tue/Thu 4–7:30pm.
• Coordinate with a Teaching Assistant to support the class.
