Part Time High School Computer Science Instructor

Coding in Color is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to equipping Arizona students with vital digital skills through computer science and artificial intelligence education. We partner with organizations, community colleges, and K-12 schools to provide access to technical education, addressing the growing demand for skilled computing professionals. Our programs include workshops, hackathons, summer camps, and semester-long courses aligned with Arizona Computer Science Standards. Role Description

This is a contract in‑person role for a High School Computer Science Instructor. The instructor will be responsible for delivering engaging computer science courses to high school students, including coursework aligned with Arizona Computer Science Standards. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching programming and core computer science principles, and supporting students in completing projects across a variety of technical topics. Instructors will also evaluate student progress and provide feedback to ensure growth in technical skills and understanding. The role requires the instructor to be on‑site 3 hours per week from 10:00AM – 11:00AM in Goodyear, Arizona. Travel time to/from work is compensated.
