Job summary

GradePower Learning Centers, Inc. in San Antonio is seeking a part-time tutor for Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry, to work after school, evenings, and Saturdays. You will tutor students one-on-one and tailor sessions to their coursework and exams.

A Bachelor's or higher in chemistry/biochemistry is required, with advanced degree preferred. Excellent communication, reliability, and ability to explain complex concepts clearly are essential, and you will join a team focused on helping students

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in chemistry, biochemistry, or a closely related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Strong command of both Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry.
• Experience with one-on-one tutoring or teaching.

• Explain reaction mechanisms, synthesis, spectroscopy, biomolecules, metabolism, and enzyme function.

Join our amazing teamat San Antonio GradePower Learning. Gain valuable teaching experience!

Weteach after school and evening hours as well as Saturdays. No relocation packages are available. You must commit to working for at least the school year. Your students will come to rely on you.

Responsibilities

• Tailor each session to the student’s coursework, learning goals, and upcoming exams.
