UPMC Shadyside is hiring a Part-Time Registered Nurse for the Heart Catheterization Lab to support interventional cardiovascular procedures and post-procedure care. As a Magnet-designated hospital, this role offers collaboration with interventional cardiology, x-ray technologists, anesthesia, and other teams, with a flexible schedule to support work-life balance.

On-call rotation and opportunities to assist in other departments enhance professional growth while delivering high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license current and valid in state.
• BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience in cath lab or interventional cardiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review patient histories and prep for procedures.
• Administer medications and monitor during procedures.
• Circulate, document, and support post-procedure recovery.
• Rotate across scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating roles.
