The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is hiring a part‑time Health and Wellbeing Coach in Sumner, WA. You will guide members through wellness programs, deliver equipment orientations, and tailor workouts to individual needs, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities include teaching safe exercise techniques, maintaining safety protocols, and helping members achieve personal fitness goals while upholding YMCA core values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or two years related knowledge and experience preferred.
• Basic health and fitness principles and exercise prescription knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver equipment orientations and assist with personalized workout routines.
• Teach proper form and demonstrate techniques while following safety guidelines.
• Maintain member relations and support members in achieving fitness goals.
• Provide FitPath orientations for all fitness levels.
