University of North Florida seeks a part-time adjunct faculty member in the Health Administration Department to bring expert insight into the curriculum and share real-world experience with students. The position involves teaching assigned courses, holding office hours, creating and grading assessments, and using Canvas to deliver content.

Start date is October 23, 2026, with compensation at least $1,000 per credit hour.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Health Administration, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in computer software usage and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive)
• Preferred: Doctorate in Health Administration or closely related field.
• Experience with Canvas LMS and higher education teaching is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Teach assigned course(s) in accordance with the approved syllabus and course schedule.
• Hold scheduled office hours with frequency and modality as negotiated with the acting program director and department chair.
• Create, administer, and grade assessments and use Canvas to deliver course content.
• Answer questions and provide additional support for students.
