Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan is seeking a Part-Time Hanger/Sorter to join our Business Services team in Iron Mountain, MI.

The role focuses on sorting donations, maintaining merchandise knowledge, and supporting basic operations on the sales floor. Ideal candidates will have HS diploma or GED and be willing to work occasional Saturdays and holidays.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of name-brand clothing and/or accessories preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be willing to occasionally work Saturday mornings and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sorting donations and checking for quality defects such as tears, stains, etc.
• Remaining up-to-date on merchandise knowledge, particularly boutique brands
• Light cleaning and organizing
• Hanging apparel and linens onto sales racks
• Barbing items with appropriate pricing tags
• Manufacture and assemble raw material into complete product
• Responsible for meeting production goals
• Responsible for quality assurance according to specifications
• Ability to operate hand trucks, electric truck, and forklift.
