Job summary

Royal Banks of Missouri is seeking a Maintenance Handyman to perform general maintenance and repair work for commercial properties. The role covers plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, landscaping, and safety, primarily at branches in the Center/Hannibal/New London area.

This part-time position (20–29 hours per week) requires hands-on skills, reliability, and the ability to work in various weather conditions and schedules.

Qualifications

• Must have proven handyman/maintenance experience.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC and general repairs.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools; strong troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and time-management abilities; reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and systems.
• Handle minor plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks and replacing fixtures.
• Perform basic electrical work including outlets, switches, and light fixtures.
• Complete carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, cabinets, drywall, and flooring.
• Paint and patch walls as needed; inspect facilities for safety concerns.
• Set up and assist with Bank events at branches as needed.
• Maintain tools and supplies; respond to maintenance requests and emergencies.
