Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation is hiring a part-time Fitness Instructor to plan, execute, and lead fitness programs across multiple park sites. You will teach leisure education classes in technical and talent fields and perform duties as assigned to support department needs.

A valid national Group Fitness certification (ACE/NASM) and CPR/First Aid are required. Work hours are based on scheduled classes with potential early morning or evening shifts, including weekends.

Qualificações

• Must have at least fifty (50) hours of direct contact in a specialized interest or skill.
• Must possess a current national level Group Fitness certification from ACE, NASM, or comparable and recognized by NCCA.
• Must pass a City administered skills test.
• CPR/AED or Heartsaver First Aid certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, execute and instruct fitness programs.
• Teach leisure education classes in technical/talent fields.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor based on workloads and department needs.
