The Township of Upper St. Clair’s Community & Recreation Center is seeking a Part-Time Group Exercise Instructor to lead fitness classes, promote health, and support a welcoming, family-oriented service environment.

Responsibilities include designing class formats for all levels, maintaining equipment safety, keeping attendance records, and ensuring certifications are up to date. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Competenze

• Degree in exercise science or wellness-related field preferred.
• Nationally accredited training certification (AFAA, ACE, PhiPilates, etc.) and 1+ year group exercise experience.
• Current First Aid, CPR and AED certification.

• Promote health & wellness as a representative of parks & recreation.
• Promote the development of a healthy self-image.
• Ensure equipment is safe and stored properly after class.
• Provide well-prepared classes with modifications for all fitness levels.
• Educate members on class area policies and conduct.
• Maintain attendance records for payroll and data collection.
• Keep current training certifications through continuing education.
• Resolve complaints and enforce facility rules with tact.
• Work cooperatively with visitors and employees.
• Attend and participate in required meetings.
