Job summary

University of Western States is seeking a part-time Laboratory Assistant for Gross Anatomy Dissection to support cadaveric dissection in the on-campus anatomy lab in Oregon. The position requires up to 18 hours per week, with duties in preparing prosected cadavers and assisting in lab sessions.

Responsibilities include assisting with dissections, setting up labs, and performing other tasks as directed by instructors and leadership.

Qualifications

• Cadaveric dissection experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited health care program with cadaveric dissection or degree in clinical anatomy.
• Prior cadaveric dissection experience beyond student lab may be preferred but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead instructor in dissecting cadavers for prosected instruction (80%).
• Assist with setting up gross anatomy instructional lab sessions (10%).
• Perform other duties as assigned by the gross anatomy instructors, team lead, dean and/or associate dean (10%).
