Job summary

Chedraui USA is hiring a Part-Time Associate at 593 Lodi. The role supports store operations, stocking, cashier duties, and customer service. Starting pay is $16.90 per hour, with opportunities to assist customers, process transactions, and maintain store cleanliness.

The position reports to the Store Manager and participates in receiving inventory, merchandising, and basic store upkeep to ensure an excellent shopping experience for the community.

Qualifications

• Read and write English and interact with the general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information clearly in one-on-one and small-group settings.
• Apply common sense to follow written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 25 pounds, with frequent 45 pounds and occasional 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a store section as assigned and stock merchandise.
• Operate a cash register and handle payments/refunds as directed by management.
• Assist customers by providing information and loading purchases when needed.
• Perform basic bookkeeping: record lost/damaged goods and store supplies.
