Job summary

Antelope Hills Golf Club in Prescott, AZ, is excited to offer a Part-Time Greenskeeper position within Troon’s global hospitality and golf platform. You will learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced, property-focused environment.

Responsibilities include mowing, irrigation, soil preparation, seeding, fertilizing, and assisting with landscape design and maintenance on the golf course. You will work with maintenance staff to keep greens, tees, fairways, and surrounding areas in top condition.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organized, efficient and detail oriented.
• Ability to design, coordinate and maintain landscaping on the golf course.
• Ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course maintenance.
• Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching and general ground preparation.
• Dependable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility.
• Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areas.
• Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water.
• Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as necessary.
• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways.
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds.
• Applies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course.
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
