Job summary

The University of Michigan is seeking a part-time LEO Lecturer I for ENTR 550: Interpersonal Skills. The instructor will lead graduate-level leadership development, emphasizing emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and teamwork across diverse environments.

Responsibilities include designing and mentoring Personal Leadership Plans, facilitating team projects, and using rubrics for assessment while maintaining a psychologically safe classroom. Winter 2027 term, 12 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Master's or terminal degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of leadership or executive experience across organizations.
• Experience embedding leadership topics and EQ frameworks in instruction.
• Experience embedding positive psychology, burnout prevention, AI, and hybrid work trends into higher education instruction.
• Strong communication skills and ability to teach with rubrics in interactive classrooms.

Responsibilities

• Lead graduate-level professional development and leadership course for Winter 2027 term.
• Guide students through the design of Personal Leadership Plans and milestones.
• Facilitate group projects and team-building with practical tools like POA&M.
• Evaluate leadership learning using rubrics and ensure psychologically safe learning environments.
• Prepare materials, deliver weekly lectures, hold office hours, and grade assignments.
