Job summary

The Golf Club at Moffett Field in Mountain View, CA is hiring a Part Time Golf Shop Attendant to join Troon International's team. You will assist guests, handle reservations, and support golf shop operations with merchandise sales while learning the essentials of guest services.

Beginners are welcome; no golf knowledge required. Weekend and holiday availability is ideal. This role emphasizes friendly customer service, accurate cash handling, and a welcoming outdoor setting.

Qualifications

• Must be highly motivated and self-starter.
• Must acquire basic computer knowledge.
• Must have strong customer/guest orientation.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge about the game of golf preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional appearance.
• Process customer reservations for guests of the golf course.
• Provide customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in.
• Arrange and display golf shop inventory as necessary and directed.
• Collect green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and process in the POS system as trained.
• Issue receipts for guest purchases.
• Take messages for staff or guests.
• Assist in packing and unpacking inventory and golf operations supplies.
• Assist in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to daily register at the closing of the day.
• Perform clean-up and closing procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
