Job summary

City of Midwest City is hiring a Part Time Golf Pro Shop Clerk in the Golf Department. Under supervision of the Golf Director, you will handle pro shop transactions, tee time documentation, and cart assignments to ensure smooth daily operations.

You will answer phone calls, balance cash drawers, and assist golfers with fees while maintaining excellent customer service and professional conduct in a busy public facility.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
• Must possess (or obtain within 2 weeks of hire) and maintain a Servers License from ABLE.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have the ability to deal with the public and other employees with tact and diplomacy.
• Must have the ability to perform mathematical computations accurately and with reasonable speed.

Responsibilities

• Charge proper fees for green, range, food/beverage and other pro shop services.
• Answer phone calls, document tee times and assign golf carts.
• Assist in supervising the start of play by golfers.
• Balance the cash drawer.
• Support day-to-day operations under Golf Director supervision.

The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for the position of Part Time Golf Pro Shop Clerk in the Golf Department.

What You’ll Do

In this role, under the supervision of the Golf Director, you will participate in the day-to-day operations.

Primary responsibilities include:

Responsible for proper charging of green fees, range fees, food and beverage fees and all other related pro shop fees.

You will also answer phone calls, document tee times and assign golf carts

Assist in supervising starting of play by golfers.

Responsible for balancing cash drawer.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must have:
