Job summary

Comprehensive Mobile Care is seeking an Optometrist (Part-Time) in Baltimore, MD to deliver on-site eye care to seniors in geriatric facilities. You will perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose ocular conditions, and coordinate with facility staff to meet patient needs.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, respect, and comfort for elderly patients, with an on-site assistant and full scheduling support. 2 days per month, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM schedule, $900 per day.

Qualifications

• OD degree and active license required.
• Experience in geriatric or mobile care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to facility-based care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams for geriatric and underserved populations.
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and coordinate with facility staff to support patient needs.
• Educate patients and/or facility staff on preventive eye care and condition management.
• Ensure a respectful, safe, and comfortable environment tailored to geriatric needs.
