Comprehensive Mobile Care in Winchester, VA is seeking a compassionate Dispensing Audiologist to join as a part-time provider. In this independent contractor role, you will deliver on-site audiology services to seniors, with admin and billing handled by CMC.

You will conduct hearing assessments, fittings, and follow-up care in facility settings, while maintaining patient-centered care and flexible scheduling. Start date is as soon as possible, with compensation of $900 per day.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from an accredited program.
• Active state audiology license.
• Experience in geriatric or mobile audiology care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to facility-based care settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and tympanometry.
• Diagnose and manage hearing disorders, including age-related hearing loss.
• Provide hearing aid consultations, fittings, programming, and follow-up care.
• Educate patients and caregivers about hearing health, communication strategies, and device maintenance.
• Work collaboratively with facility staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Ensure a comfortable and respectful environment tailored to geriatric needs.
