Big Brand Tire & Service is seeking a Part-Time General Service Technician in California. Join a fast-paced, team‑driven shop where you’ll gain hands-on automotive experience, from tire work to oil changes and brake services.

This flexible role offers growth into mechanic or service-advisor tracks with ongoing training and a strong focus on customer service. You’ll work in a supportive environment that values teamwork, safety, and speed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years automotive service experience preferred.
• Experience with tires, oil changes, brakes, suspension, or alignments is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stay active during shifts.
• Weekend availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires.
• Perform oil changes and replace filters.
• Complete courtesy vehicle inspections and document findings.
• Test and install batteries.
• Perform brake services and light mechanical repairs.
• Assist with suspension, steering, and alignment services.
• Replace under-hood components such as radiators, alternators, and water pumps.
• Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
• Work closely with teammates to deliver fast, accurate customer service.
