42 North Dental in Hollidaysburg, PA is seeking a Part-time General Dentist. You will deliver comprehensive dental care from exams and treatment planning to delivery of care, including in-office specialties. The role offers 2-3 days per week (Tue/Thu and alternating Fridays) with flexible scheduling.

The practice emphasizes patient education, preventative care, and collaboration with a multi-specialty team. Benefits apply for eligible hours and earnings up to 36% of collections.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
