Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Teach adult education classes using instructional methods geared toward adult learners.
• Plan lessons and curriculum to prepare students for high school equivalency tests or improve basic education skills.
• Deliver whole group, small group, and individualized instruction with diverse materials and techniques.
• Create a conducive classroom environment and maintain student engagement.
• Administer and use TABE assessments as required, and maintain attendance and progress records.
• Enter data into the Student Information System and assist with registration, testing, and scheduling events.
• Maintain professional classroom standards and adhere to LDCC's Standards of Practice.
