Htsgla is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our boutique beach clinic in Santa Monica, CA. You will treat patients of all ages with upper-extremity injuries, developing individualized plans to restore function and independence.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, implementing evidence-based interventions, educating patients on adaptive techniques, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in outpatient hand therapy (CHT preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and strong problem-solving abilities.
• In-depth understanding of soft tissue modification techniques and therapeutic exercises.

• Conduct assessments to evaluate disorders of the upper extremity
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and sensory processing
• Teach patients adaptive techniques to enhance their ability to perform daily activities
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Monitor and document patients' progress throughout the treatment process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy

• Experience working patients in an out patient hand therapy clinic (CHT preferred.)
