Syska Hennessy Group in New York City is offering an Innovations Intern position focused on Full Stack/Front End Engineering. The role is part-time and requires 20–30 hours per week, with in-office days flexible to fit your schedule.

You will learn by pairing with the Innovation Program Manager, contribute to several ongoing projects, and develop skills in ReactJS and JavaScript while collaborating with a global engineering team.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Data Science.
• Proficiency in programming for web and/or mobile applications.
• Demonstrated proficiency in programming languages, such as but not limited to ReactJS and JavaScript
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug code efficiently, with a strong attention to detail to ensure the reliability and performance of applications.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies, with a strong desire to expand skills in software development.
• Effective communication skills, enabling clear articulation of ideas and efficient collaboration with team members.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and proactive in taking on assignments and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• As an Innovations intern, you will report to the Innovation Program Manager and work with other staff to help fast-track the development phase for several in-progress innovation projects.
• You will collaborate with local and national teams to drive innovation throughout the AEC industry.
