Job summary

US Foods is seeking a part-time CHEF’SSTORE Sales Associate in Meridian, ID. You will work 20-30 hours per week, including weekends and holidays, in a retail environment, handling front-end checkout, customer service, stocking, and courtesy duties. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour.

You may be assigned to multiple departments and events as needed, with emphasis on delivering excellent customer service. Qualifications include 6–12 months of retail cashier/stocking experience and a high school

Qualifications

Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Front End: sell merchandise and assist customers through checkout and POS transactions.
Front End: weigh/product lookup and ensure barcode accuracy in the system.
Front End: perform cart-to-cart transfer and receipt checking.
Front End: handle opening/closing duties at the front end.
Sales Floor: assist customers, replenish shelves, rotate stock using FIFO.
Stocking: receive inventory and maintain shelves, report low stock.
Labeling: apply labels and tags to produce and merchandise.
Price changes: assist with pricing as directed by Pricing Lead and Store Management.
Inventory: participate in inventory/cycle counts as needed.
Customer Courtesy: maintain safety and cleanliness of the store and parking lot; gather carts.
