Job summary

Michaels in Orland Park is seeking a Part Time Framer to build relationships with customers while delivering custom framing solutions. Help shoppers in-store and find what they need in a fast, friendly environment.

You will handle checkout, assist with BOPIS/SFS, stock shelves, and participate in frame shop activities. The role requires standing long hours and handling light to moderate lifting.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move boxes.
• Familiarity with omni-channel processes like BOPIS/SFS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships while creating a memorable framing solution for art and help customers shop and find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a safe, clean and clutter-free environment and a fast, friendly checkout experience with proper cash handling.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments; educate on VOC surveys.
• Assist with omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes; support store recovery and shrink/safety programs.
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
