Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Part-time Framer at our Cincinnati (Western Hills) store. You will build custom framing solutions, assist customers in-store, and process framing orders with accuracy.

Join a team focused on delivering great service, maintaining a well-merchandised store, and upholding SOPs while contributing to inventory and omnichannel processes. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum type of experience: basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Preferred type of experience: retail experience and ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and create custom framing solutions.
• Deliver sales and production results with quality and on time framing orders.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas.
• Provide friendly customer service and help shoppers find products.
• Follow SOPs and company programs; support shrink and safety programs.
• Assist with omnichannel processes and stock replenishment.
• Operate cash register and manage cash handling to SOPs.
• Acknowledge customers and provide solutions; participate in truck unload and stocking.
