Job description

Join to apply for the Part Time Framer role at Michaels Stores.

Store - CHLT-RIVERGATE, NC

Build customer relationships while creating memorable framing solutions for their art. Help customers shop and find what they need. Maintain a safe, clean, and clutter-free environment.

Major Activities

1. Adhere to SOPs and company policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards.
2. Use Elevated ABC Deliver to build relationships with customers and create custom framing solutions, aiming to meet sales and production goals.
3. Complete framing orders with quality and timeliness.
4. Maintain the ready-made frame department and other areas including SISO and Replenishment.
5. Provide friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping and locating products, and ensure the store is well merchandised and stocked.
6. Follow SOPs and support shrink and safety programs.
7. Interact respectfully with others, remain positive, promote the company’s values, and serve as a role model.
8. Participate in truck unloading and stocking, following standards within budget.
9. Operate cash register and handle transactions according to standards.
10. Acknowledge customers, assist with product location, and offer solutions.
11. Assist with Omni channel processes.

Other Duties as Assigned

Minimum Experience Required

• Basic computer and measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutters.

Preferred Experience

• Retail experience.
• Experience selling products/services to customers.

Physical Requirements

• Bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, stretching.
• Ability to move throughout the store and stand for long periods.
• Lifting heavy items and using ladders or similar equipment.

Work Environment

• Public retail store environment; climate-controlled areas; some outdoor work; work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
