Job summary

Koinonia Family Services in Stockton, CA is seeking a dependable Foster Care Visitation Monitor to supervise visits between foster children and birth families. The role supports families in Stockton and surrounding San Joaquin County, with visits at a county center and occasional travel to Modesto.

This part-time position offers about 6-10 hours per week, flexible scheduling during business hours, some remote work, mileage reimbursement, PTO, and participation in the 401k plan.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Dependable, reliable, and trustworthy.
• Good driving record with a personal vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience with children and families preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain boundaries with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Supervise visits between foster children and birth families at a county visitation center.
• Provide transportation for foster children to appointments.
• Prepare visitation areas and ensure a safe environment.
• Document each visit and report concerns to social workers.
• Communicate progress and any changes in cases to social workers.
• Perform administrative duties between visits.
• Occasionally work remotely for supervision, case notes, and training.
• Travel to Modesto office for meetings as needed.
